WOW! what a comeback, best performance i've seen them do. Just got this update from ukissmusicRB on youtube. credits goes to ukissmusicRB too.
My review : They performed this on friday music show, guess their really keen on putting "round and round" as their title song. Kevin sounds so calm even though he got aleast half of all the singing, as usual soo hyun's power vocals and kevin's great singing hits us again. Dongho had some parts which was really great to hear him sing, Alexander's and Eli's rap, impressive as usual. Still what a comeback, but i hate to say this, its much better than that MMHN comeback stage they had. Kibum killed some girls with his new hair,(i'm not one of them, i prefer his MMHN hair.)Surprising in this song, u can really hear kevin's power vocals coming out snce he had added singing parts. The dance was great, great choreography, i kinda see the MMHN style still inside. Dongho's blond hair didn't really suit him too well, the rest are good, though the changes are quite big to the extent u can't realy see who is who.

i remember saying how much i hate round and round, maybe i should take it back. Its not that bad after u have it on repeat for around 20 times ( haha.. hypnotizing myself to like that song.)
Once you actually understand the whole song, its not that bad really, so for more understanding of it here's a vid of "round and round" with english subs, credits to hurmutube2 for uploading this on youtube.
Guss i haven't been doing much work since the day of their new album :P haha.. seeing my friend doing so much and improving so much on her art, maybe its time i get to work too.

Ukiss round and round ( music review)
Wow! they sure are fast! Album was released yesterday and today, the MV for round and round. Yea the MV sure makes my head spin round and round i'm just amazed at how they do the filming,there were parts of the mv where u can see them standing on this transparent platform and spining 360.OMO! i miss kevin's blond hair,i think he was supposed to be born blond cos he looks s good in it!
Kibum got extra lines, maybe cos so that ppl will be able to better hear him, for me nope, sorry, your voice was kinda drowned in the whole techno noise.I kinda missed kibum's hair. Overall the MV was well made especially with the whole background of it all.Elis got to wear those fur things at his shoulders again like in MMHN, and dongho appeared in blond! BLOND! My god! That was a shocking appearance.
Main colors for this MV : gold, black, light brown and white. They were wearing 2 different set of costumes, one is in black and looks military, and also the one that they wore for their photoshoot. The other one is in brown and black which they danced in most of the video. They changed so much that its hard to recognize them, especially Alexander. He appeared and you had to take a second look and say:"oh.. that Alexander? wow!"
Their spinning stage was an added bonus for the whole MV, maybe i could start liking this song.

i knew there was something wrong with their song! The techno mumbo jumbo i heard on their album actually had a twin! HA! Anyway... i'm not really in to their new album, makes me mad and disappointed.

Super junior M? huh? whats that? i heard that super junior has another group called Super junior M? ok.. weird, whats weirder is that this group actually sings Chinese song! wow! just heard their song " super girl" by super junior M on the radio. They were first korean singers so its hard for them to lose their korean style of singing. You can hear the korean techno in this chinese song, which is refreshing and new to hear. I'm just surprised at how good their Chinese is.
Speaking of korean bands, yesterday was the day the Ukiss released their new album called "only one". i was counting down to their release since the day i know of the news, and i somehow wished i didn't. Counting down made me have too much expectations for this new full album. All i can is, i'm deadly disappointed. I've ranted quite alot abt this album in the TSPH forum and Ukiss's international forum yesterday. It feels tiring just to rant about in once more. It is said that they're gonna use this as their comeback, well goo luck to them.
If they continue on with this techno mumbo jumbo, i think Ukiss will just be another band that i know of. SS501's love like this.., well u can see the techno elements in it, but not too much till the extent its horrible. Surprisingly you can actually get addicted to the whole song. Wasteland was success in their rebirth album.( atleast you could hear them sing in it! The techno noise somehow compliments their voices and with maknea's techno and "something's stuck in my throat voice" is an added bonus to whole package. Techno elements but not too much of it. Great ^^) I somehow wished they did a dance or an MV for wasteland, would die to see it O_O.
Back to ranting, there were a total 5 remix in it : talk to me remix, i like you remix, mamahani remix, give it to me remix and its ok remix. Frankly, i'm not one whose into remix, though MAMAHAhi's remix was acceptable. Its horrible when the intro sounds so much nicer than the rest of the songs. The intro ACTUALLY sounds like a ballad! You'll be surprised to find that there's not even a single ballad in the album, the closest you can get to a ballad in that album is "without you", its also the song with least amount of techno noise in it. Before the album was released it is said that their title song : benguiel benguiel ( i don't know if i spelled it right) was to be a hit. Well it hit me in the head the most horrible mix of techno noise i've heard. ( no offence. )Dancing flow and Bang Bang Bang was quite bad too, same problem, too much techno noise and too little voices. I mean, their a 7 member group! And i can't even bloody hear their voices! I mean do u even call that a song? Sad to say, its just techno noise to me. "without you" could be renamed as "without youR voices ", because its hard to hear them singing in the album among all the techno noises.
And surprisingly, after only being a fan of Ukiss for just a few months, i'm already have seconds thoughts about being one, even though alot of ppl has said that they'll hit big soon just like SS501 soon after their full album releases. But i think not, still for the sake of Kibum, i think i'll just stick for just a little while longer >_o.

cookies! ( requested by my brother's teacher, used for sampling.) Celebrating SS501's 1700th day since debut.
I think i can officially call this cookies " new year cookies" since they were baked today. After seeing the post on http://triplesphilippines.blogspot.com/2010/02/young-saeng-left-message-in-dsp-website.html#comments , i just realised that this is my first post on the first of February. And young saeng left a message at the DSP board too >_< What great news to hear after a day's of baking.
Wow, its already the 1700th day since SS501's debut today! Ha Ha, having a little baking celebration here. Since i baked these cookies just in time today, lets celebrate it with a cookie party! :P
Too bad i won't see these cookies again, these are the once that the teacher is going to sample. I made lots, but the rest are just failure, they taste ok, its just that they don't look too good.
